  9. 2019 Tax Refund Schedule (2020 Tax Season)

The first day to file your 2021 taxes is January 24, 2022. It would be a good idea to file your tax return early this year. As of December, 2021, the IRS had a backlog of over 6 million tax returns from the 2020 tax season they were working on. This is six times the norm of around 1 million tax returns being processed. The IRS recommends everyone file their tax return electronically this year and file early if possible.

The IRS is hopeful that processing times will return to more normal lengths. For example, the IRS reports that 9 out of 10 taxpayers who filed electronically in 2019 received their tax refunds within 21 days. Some taxpayers receive their refund in as little as 8 days, and most receive it within 10-14 days.

While the IRS no longer publishes an official tax refund calendar, they continue to issue guidance stating most taxpayers will receive their refund within 21 days. So we have used IRS guidelines, statements, and historic tax return data to create an IRS refund schedule, which we have published on this page.

We have also included additional tax return information, such as a list of important dates and Frequently Asked Questions regarding IRS refund dates. It’s important to note the calendar is an estimate and represents when the majority of tax returns should be processed.

IRS E-File Schedule for Tax Refunds via Check or Direct Deposits

As alluded to above, the IRS previously released an annual schedule to help taxpayers better plan around tax season so tax-filers will know when they can expect to receive their refund check. They stopped this practice in 2013 (2012 tax year) after there were delays in the refund process due to new anti-fraud measures.

The table below shows an approximation of when your federal tax refund should be direct-deposited into your bank account or the date your check will be mailed. This table is based on previous tax return charts. Remember, this is only an estimation and not a guarantee.

How to use this tax refund chart: This schedule only applies to tax returns filed electronically. The left column represents the date your tax refund was accepted by the IRS. This chart does not apply to tax refunds filed by mail because it takes the IRS much longer to manually process returns. There is no tax refund schedule for paper returns because it is difficult to know when the IRS will physically process your return.

This table cuts off after the final tax filing deadline for extensions, which is October 15th this year. Here is the full IRS E-File Tax Refund Schedule.

Some important notes about this tax refund schedule: This is only good when you E-File your taxes because the IRS will notify you of the date of acceptance – generally within 72 hours of receipt. Tax returns sent on paper forms must be manually entered into the IRS computers and there is no way to track the date of acceptance. So this chart won’t work for estimating which day your tax return will be sent.

The other important thing to note is that IRS refund checks are processed fairly quickly, usually within 1-2 weeks. This is just one more reason to say no to refund anticipation loans.

When Can I File My Taxes – And When is My Tax Return Due?

What is the first day you can file your 2021 taxes?

January 24, 2022, is the first day you can officially file your 2021 tax return. That said, you can always complete your return as soon as you have your paperwork ready. Many software programs will allow you to submit your return through their system and they will automatically file the return for you on the day the IRS begins accepting returns. This will get your return in the queue faster, and hopefully, get your refund processed more quickly.

Filing Tax Returns Early

The first official day to file taxes is January 24, 2022, according to the IRS. Last year, some people reported they were able to submit their tax return around January 14, as part of IRS FreeFile program. Some tax software companies will also begin accepting tax returns on that date. However, the tax returns will be held until January 24th, when they will be transmitted to the IRS.

While there are benefits to submitting early, only a limited number of tax preparation companies are able to process these early returns, and only in limited numbers. Expect your tax return to be processed on the first day of tax return filing unless your tax professional or software company has informed you your return will be included in this program.

When is My 2021 Tax Return Due?

Tax returns are normally due on April 15 each year, unless the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday. If that is the case, the tax return is due on the following business day.

This year, for example, taxes are due on April 18, 2022, because April 16th is Emancipation Day, an observed holiday in Washington, DC. So it’s a good idea to double-check each year!

Taxpayers in Maine or Massachusetts have until April 19, 2022, to file their returns due to the Patriots’ Day holiday in those states.

You can file your return as late as Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, if you file an extension on your taxes.

Important Tax Return Dates

Here are important tax dates:

  • January 14: IRS Free File opens. Taxpayers can begin filing returns through IRS Free File partners; tax returns will be transmitted to the IRS starting January 24. Tax software companies also are accepting tax filings in advance.
  • January 18: Due date for tax year 2021 fourth quarter estimated tax payment.
  • January 24: IRS begins 2022 tax season. Individual 2021 tax returns begin being accepted and processing begins
  • January 28: Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day to raise awareness of valuable tax credits available to many people – including the option to use prior-year income to qualify.
  • April 18: Due date to file 2021 tax return or request extension and pay tax owed due to Emancipation Day holiday in Washington, D.C., even for those who live outside the area.
  • April 19: Due date to file 2021 tax return or request extension and pay tax owed for those who live in MA or ME due to Patriots’ Day holiday
  • October 17: Due date to file for those requesting an extension on their 2021 tax returns

What happens if you don’t file your taxes on time?

Don’t do it! Instead, try to file a tax extension. Filing a tax extension is free, and you can do it at any time. Just be aware that you need to pay any money due by the tax deadline, or you may owe penalties or fees. So get an estimated tax payment in the mail if you need to, then figure out your books. The deadline to file your tax return if you filed an extension is October 15th.

IRS E-File – When Will I Get My Tax Refund?

How long does it take to process a tax return?

The most important factors for tax return processing time are whether you efile or file a paper return. As you might have guessed, e-filing results in much faster turnaround time. Paper returns have to be manually entered into the system and can remain in the queue for several days (or longer) before they can be processed. Of course, the complexity of your return also affects how long it takes to process your return.

How long does it take to get a tax refund?

The IRS has a goal of getting tax refunds to taxpayers within 21 days. They reach this goal about 90% of the time. In fact, some people receive their federal tax refund in as few as 8 days, and most people receive their refunds in about 10-14 days.

In previous years, the IRS created an official IRS tax refund schedule for when they will send out federal tax refunds via direct deposit or by check. They now issue general guidance. The general rule of thumb is that direct deposits will be sent out a few days before paper checks are sent out (the delay for a paper check can actually take up to one week, depending on how many refunds the IRS has to process).

Are there any known tax refund delays?

Yes. A law requires the IRS to withhold tax refunds when the taxpayer claims either the Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credits (ACTC). Refunds must be withheld until Feb. 15, 2022, regardless of when you filed your tax return. Tax refunds that claim these credits after that date are processed as they come in. The IRS has also created new anti-fraud measures to combat tax refund theft. So some returns may be delayed for additional review.

When will my refund be in my bank account?

Direct deposits are faster than paper checks. However, keep in mind it may take a few days for your financial institution to make your deposit available to you. Some banks make direct deposits available the day they hit, while other banks may hold the funds for a couple of business days. Check with your bank for more information. Paper checks also have a delay for fund availability: it may take several days for the check to arrive in the mail, then another few days after you deposit the check before the funds are available (many banks place a hold on checks).

What day of the week does the IRS deposit refunds?

The IRS process ACH transactions on any normal business day. (The IRS used to process electronic refunds once or twice a week, now they are processed on each business day).

What day of the week does the IRS mail paper checks?

Electronic Tax Returns and Payments Are Fastest

If you file your taxes with the IRS EFile, or with a tax software program that files your taxes online for you, then you are in luck. You will generally receive your tax refund much more quickly than if you file your taxes by mail. The IRS can process electronic tax returns faster and easier than paper returns. This makes it faster for them to clear the books on your tax return and send you a refund—via either an ACH transaction or by check.

ACH transactions (bank to bank electronic transfers) are much faster and safer than receiving a paper check. So if you want to receive your refund faster, electronic is the way to go! While you are waiting on your tax return, here is a great way to make a fast $250 free money just for opening up a Chase Bank Checking account and savings as a new customer!

Where is My Tax Refund Check?

You can check the status of your federal tax refund as soon as 72 hours after the IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed return. Please note the IRS only updates the status of your refund once a week, on Wednesdays. So checking back several times a day throughout the week won’t normally give you any new information. The quickest and easiest way to get this information is to go to the Where’s My Refund page. Or, call 1-800-829-1954 or 1-800-829-4477.

I always use Turbo tax and choose to file online. For the past five years, I’ve received my refund within few weeks. This year, I am making sure that I don’t lend IRS money interest free. 🙂

  2. Tyler S. says

I’ve always been a TurboTax fan as well, and their program has been reliable every time. I usually get my returns pretty fast too, possibly a bonus from filing early.

  3. Donny Gamble says

As an entrepreneur I try to wait as long as possible to file because I always fear how much money I will owe from all of my gains over the course of the year. I have hired a CPA that knows how to find taxable deductions for entrepreneurs so hopefully it will pan out to be a wise investment.

    • Ryan Guina says

You may want to look into paying estimated taxes if you think you may owe each year. It’s usually not a problem if you don’t owe the government much money. But if you owe too much, or if you consistently underpay due to business income, then you may be subject to penalties or fees. Something took into, especially if your company continues to grow!

  4. Bryce @ Save and Conquer says

It doesn’t seem like we really need a table to tell us that refunds are sent out roughly a week after our efile has been accepted by the IRS.

    • Douglas says

except that they are not being sent out in that time I’ve been waiting 3 weeks and their tool offers no information just that its still being processed with no date as to when its infuriating that people are already getting stimulus (extra money ) and I haven’t even gotten what I am owed I’m hurting just like everyone else

  9. Kat butler says

I filed thru hrblock.come on 2/16 and the irs accepted it as of 2/21. Add of today 2/30 it still hasn’t been approved. Can anyone help? This has never happened before

  10. sylvia says

May i ask who on line did you efile with, and did you file 1-20-15? Because i thought the IRS wasnt accepting returns til 1-22-15.

  11. Genevie Joco says

I have filed my tax return on feb 5, 2015 and I mailed it in. Do you know how long it will take till I can get the check for my federal?

  12. Mr. Curious says

On the above table, there is no info for those whose return was accepted between Jan 31 and Feb. 6. From the info provided, it seems like the direct deposit for that week should then go out Feb. 12. Dies that seem correct, or am I missing something? My return was accepted on Feb. 4, today is Feb. 11, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting my direct deposit refund tomorrow (the 12th.) Anyone else in the same or similar situation? Thanks.

  13. Laura says

Call 1-800-829-0582 Ext 352 to speak to a live agent. I was unable to get through on the other lines and found out needed information.

  14. Francisco says

I did mine with liberty tax and the irs site has been on the first step since the tenth which is the very day I got them done. Does anyone know how long it takes them to process it and that I can trust the amount I was told even though they haven’t said approved yet?

  15. betty says

My refund status says it was mailed on February 13 how long does it take for my paper check to come throught the mail

  16. LINDA says

I filed my taxes on the 31st of January and it was accepted on February 6 and the tool bar wheres my refund hasn’t changed at all I been checking every day. my other friend already got hers and I haven’t is there something wrong?

  17. Trevor says

i filed mine on jan 25th, they were accepted the same day but didn’t see a change after that in the wheres my refund tool till my 3 weeks was up-the bar disappeared and it said it was still processing, would give a date when available (no other message). So sense it’d been 21 days i called the irs and though it took a minute i got ahold of someone and he looked up what was going on and told me that there were some minor issues on my return but nothing serious & this year they have an internal team that can correct those, and that my return should be in at the latest one more week from the 15th (my original 21 days) so the 22nd, and sure enough yesterday the 20th the wheres my refund tool updated with the date saying it should be in my bank by the 25th- a little later than expected but i am now relieved that it is going to be on its way soon- if your 21 days are up they are allowed to look up your return so just wait until then and you’ll get answers :]

  18. Jennafer Uribe says

I filed a joint married with my 2 kids tax return on Jan 27th. I still waiting, all it says on IRS web is(we have received your taxes and they are still processing your refund. Its Feb 24th already!?!?!?!? What’s going on!!?

  19. Miyah Miller says

If it say that your going to receive your direct deposit the 25th on the IRS were is my refund websites..Can you go by that date?? If so what time will it be processed into my account?

  20. Randi says

Hi! (02/26/2015) – I filed and it was accepted on 01/28. My DD date was 2/18. On 2/14 it was changed to processing and a date would be given.. I contacted the IRS on the number given above (1-800-829-0582 Ext 352 ) because I was unable to get through on the number Turbo Tax supplies. The lady said they encountered a problem and it could take 6-8 weeks until the problem is resolved. I asked what the system was for reviewing the files, is there a date that something pops back up, is it placed in a pile and waiting for someone to review it, etc.. She said that it is sent to a different department and they will review it. There was no indication that a letter was sent out to us to explain and she is not sure if they will even send out a letter. She got my telephone number and put it on file so maybe they will call me about any issues. I guess we will see :/

    • Randi says

I just wanted to update because I RARELY see updates on sites. So on Wednesday March 18th our status changed to “Your refund has been received and it is being processed.” Then Sunday, March 23, the IRS website gave us a deposit date of March 25th. Sure enough our deposit was in on March 25th. Granted we filed on January 28th but hey… its FINALLY here. Just wanted to show people how long our took. Good Luck!

  21. Kassandra says

I filed on February 20th I received a confirmation that my check was being mailed on March 3 does anyone know how long it will take for it to come through my mail?

  22. victoria says

I filed my taxes with liberty tax on or about 3/07 I recently received a direct deposit
Date 3/18 now I have had my share of issues with the IRS and had to wait
6 months for my $$$ so I really don’t trust my DDD last year it went all the way thru
And right at the last min they stop my deposit and hit me with some codes refund issued
    Issued , refund canceled etc….

  23. jess nelson says

I filed my taxes the beginning of feb which was excepted and sent out on feb 25 I still have not received my check yet how much longer should it be before I should get my check …… can anyone help? it’s been 21 days since they sent my check shouldn’t I have gotten it by now?

  24. Tammy says

I filed my taxes via Turbo Tax on February 28, 2015. Where’s my refund just says that the IRS is still processing my return and it has been 21 days. I’m not sure if I should call or just give it a few more days.

  25. Shannon says

I e filed with my CPA, (Married filing jointly) as I have every year for last 12yrs. My CPA called to inform that my SSN was rejected and to call IRS. IRS rep informed that my SSN has been used by someone else…Said I was listed as a dependent spouse on another females return and because of the new same sex marriage rules, it wasn’t even questioned. I was told that no refund had been issued to the other person. Was then instructed to file a paper return with an identity theft affidavit. Has anyone encountered this situation and how long before I get my return?

    • Kate says

      Shannon –
I had the same issue. I was told it would be 180 days to be resolved. DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT! Go to your local IRS office with your SS card, ID, birth certificate, etc…everything. Tell the the situation and have them manually verify your identity through their system. This will keep you from having to send that information via post mail. They should issue a letter to your home asking you to call and verify or go online. CALL THE NUMBER. Tell them what is going on and ask what address you need to file to (its not the same as the standard return address). Gather your paper return, attached a copy of the verification letter, and mail it off PRIORITY. I did these steps 2 weeks ago – IRS site now says they are received it and it’s processing. I was told I should expect me return no later than 6 weeks after my identity has been verified.
      Hope that helps!
      Good luck

  26. Krystal says

(1-13-2016) Just a heads up, I filed really early this year. I submitted my return on Jan 5th with the assumption that it wouldn’t be accepted until the IRS opened on Jan 19th. Well it was accepted on Monday Jan 11th!! Apparently, the IRS does a “soft open” before their official open date and accepts some early returns! (Yay) Now I’m waiting for the bar to show “approved”. My returns have always been deposited rather quickly, within 2 weeks of filing. Also, once the IRS shows ” approved”, check your account the next day because the money is sometimes available in your account before you get the last IRS update showing “sent”. Just some helpful info 🙂

  27. Joss says

    (1/20/2016) Good Evening !!
I e-filled my taxes on (1/9/16) they was accepted on (1/12/16) , but TT was saying that the estimated Return should be from (1/19/16-2/8/16) so I’m confused …
When will I get my taxes ? is it really between those day’s or is not possible.

  28. Christina says

    We filed 1/15/2016
1/19/2016 Got email that refund was submitted to IRS
1 hour later got another email saying IRS accepted my return and will notify me when my funds are loaded on my emerald card!
Does this mean IRS approved my refund?
WMR is still on the first bar. No date yet!! Hoping it comes soon. ??

  29. Tweet says

I filed my return January 8, 2016. It only says return recieved. No other info. I am having my refund direct deposit. So does anyone know if I will have them by the 25 of January?

  30. lafaye says

Is this true about the irs updating their wheres my refund page every Wednesday? si I can stop checking everyday ? because their actual irs page says they update it overnight

    • Ryan Guina says

They update once a day, generally overnight. So you can just check once per day. Don’t try too often or you may get locked out.

  31. brittney says

I filed at Jackson Hewitt on January 7,2016 and was approved on January 14,2016 but Im still on the first bar for just being recieved and others have been approved so check for updates today.

  32. Yuki says

I submitted on Jan 20 2016 via Tax Act and IRS and AZ accepted them within minutes of me submitting the e-file. I should be getting the refund soon.

Do not waste your money with Jackson Hewitt, HR, Liberty etc. Go free with Tax Act, Tax Slayer, TurboTax because it’s free, simple and you get to keep that money these other brick and mortar places charge.

  33. Marc says

Filled Both Federal and State on January 25th 2016, Both accepted January 26th 2016.(TurboTax) Your expected refund delivery is between January 26 and February 15, (wheres my refund for state) says We authorized your refund on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 10 business days to receive your refund by direct deposit, or 25 business days to receive your refund by check. ( i chose direct deposit)

Hope this time frame helps some people for 2015 Tax year. Ill post again when refunds are received to get an accurate time from filing to receiving.

  34. Tabatha says

I file 01/22/16 & within an hour it said it was accepted. Every yr I file using turbotax & within 6 days it says approved, and it still hasn’t said approved the chart above says I should have it by 02/05/16 but others that filed the same day or after I did have received their return date from the irs. Should I be concerned?

  35. Helen says

Filed my Federal and AZ state via Turbo Tax on 1/22/16 and got confirmation both were accepted within minutes. Federal refund was in my bank account on 1/29/16. When I check AZ Where’s My Refund site it was saying processing. The last two days it changed to saying they cannot provide any information and if the data I entered is correct to contact them. Does this mean there is a problem with my return?

  36. Shannon P says

I filed mine on 1/19/2016 through Taxact. Federal and state both were accepted within an hour. The website still says accepted. We have a very simple return so hopfully it will get approved soon.

  37. Kristina schumacher says

I filled on the 17th with turbo tax was accepted Federal on the 19th and state on 20th, till now one bar, do you have idea when i will get DDD

  38. shannon says

I filed 1/14/2016 it was accepted 1/19/2016 (turbo tax) and still has not been approved …. seems last year didn’t take this long to be approved . Is it in general just taking longer this year or is something possibly wrong .

  39. Tiffany says

Hi, I filed on January 19th, 2016 in which it has shown accepted but hasn’t been moved to approved yet. Last year I don’t recall it taking this long. Is it just me or does it normally take this long? Mine was just a basic tax nothing to look into at all really.

  40. Marc says

    My previous comment #51

State refund has been deposited 2-2-2016. A total of 4 buisness days after being accepted.
    Still waiting on federal.

  41. Jessi says

i had filed on 1/23/16 and it was approved the same day. I have been checking where’s my refund and turbo tax status daily and it still hasn’t changed from accepted. I haven’t got it approved yet and was hoping it would be direct deposit on 2/5/16 but still haven’t had any approved updates yet? anyone else having the same problem?

  42. New Orleans Beauty says

I filed my taxes 1/25/16 through H&R BLOCK ONLINE same as last year , still at the first bar. Last year I filed on 1/22/15 received my Direct Deposit 8 days later (1/30/15). I don’t remember it ever being this long especially with Direct Deposit it suppose to have been here by now. Patiently waiting.

  43. Therese says

  44. Amanda says

I filed on 1/30/16 with Turbo Tax and all previous years my return was accepted and approved within a day, as of today 2/3/16 and it still hasn’t been approved! Does this mean something is wrong? If I call the IRS before the 21 days will someone help me? Please help.

  45. Lynn says

Hello Jessi. I was wondering if u have anything yet or if your status has changed. When u check the irs site does it show u on the 1st bar still or have u moved along? I filed on turbotax on the 28 which isn’t long ago but its still on the 1st bar. Don’t know if this is true or not but someone told me that they called the irs today to check on their refund and they were told that they have not released anyones refunds yet. Hopefully things go smooth for us all lol.

  46. Patricia says

I filed on January 29th 2016 and my refund was accepted that same night. When I check the where’s my refund site it’s still on the same bar that says been accepted. I used Turbo Tax for the first time last year and was very satisfied with it. I received my refund in exactly 7 days last year. Today marks 7 days and I checked and it’s not there. Maybe tomorrow? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

  47. Raye says

I filed early using OLT as always 1/13/16
Was told by OLT reps that it was submitted and accepted 1/19/16 for federal 1/20/16 for state. I received my state on 2/2/16 but federal status still has not changed from accepted. ? In the past 6 years I NEVER got my state back first so I was concerned something was wrong, but after reading these comments and a few from my coworkers it seems that the earlier you actually submitted your return the longer we’re waiting. This is unusal, I’ve always filed through OLT and always gotten my return no later than 14 days after acceptance if not before. Early filers are getting held up, what’s the deal with that? ???

  48. Robbyn says

Jessi, I filed 01/23/2016 like you and checking it every day. Still not approved. Not sure what’s the hold up. The scheduled said it should be deposited on Feb 5th. 🙁

  49. Natasha says

I filed my Taxes on 1/21/16 they said they had received them but been checking everyday and I still don’t have any movement and like everyone said I don’t remember it taking so long. Hopefully they update it tonight!

  51. Mary says

I filed my tax return state and federal onbl Turbotax on Jan 27 2015. I was accepted withon minutes and it was before 11am. It was at 10:08am. I checked my bank account since I chose direct deposit and according to the chart, I should have received my refund today. But no refund as of yet. Irs says its still being process. I dont know if the system crash this week would affect this or not but I was really hoping it would be there when my bank opened this morning.

  52. jason says

I am curious if anyone who was accepted by Jan 25 received their refund today Feb 5, 2016 or is all delayed bc of the snafu with the irs system?

  53. Sherri says

I am in the same boat, been waiting 2 weeks on a refund. The schedule indicates that I should receive my $ today, but my bank account says “No”.

  54. Kesha says

I filed my taxes at Accounting Plus on Jan 18th, they accepted them on the 20th. According to the schedule I should’ve had mine today but I’m still waiting for them to get approved. My brothers was filed on Jan 17th, accepted the 18th and recieved his money Jan 22nd. WTH?? Took him all of 5 days to get his. I’m bummed out!

  55. Brooke says

Return accepted 1/24/16. Hasn’t been approved yet and no money in my account. :'( Last year it didn’t take this long but seems everyone is getting the shaft this year! Hopefully it’s on its way and the computer malfunction doesn’t set it back too far.

  56. Dan says

I filed early and was accepted on January 15th,where’s my refund still shows that it is being processed. I was wondering if any one else is having this same problem?

  57. Ann says

I filed my return electronically on the 19th of January 2016. It was accepted by the IRS the same day. According to the IRS calendar I should have been sent my return by February 5th via ACH into my account. My refund did not come. My refund status did not change from accepted to refund approved until Friday/Saturday February 6th. Someone else who filed their return the same day as mine received her return on the 5th and her status showed refund approved on the 3rd of February. So FYI it appears that the IRS is updating refund statuses more than just once per week.

  58. Julianne cool says

Is there anyway i can change my refund from getting a check to my e-card o filed online and forgot my card so i couldnt punch in my e card number and i was wondering if There was a way i could change my refund method?

  59. Bree says

I filed on 1-26-16, and was issued my state refund on the 5th but it never deposited into my account? My fiancé also filed same day with the same issue date of 2-5-16 and received his. This has never happened before?

  60. Patience says

Seriously lol. No one has any patience these days. Calling the IRS because you think it’s late? Might as well call the White House and ask Obama where your deposits are.

  61. Marc says

    My Previous comments #51 #60
Federal refund approved, deposit date is February 10th 2016.

So total time was 15 days including non buisness days.

  62. Patty says

I filed my taxes with turbo tax, after it was excepted I realized that the bank account I used for direct deposit was closed.. I was wondering how long it usually takes for them to realize that and then mail a check.

  63. Patty p says

I filed my taxes and chose direct deposit to realize the account was closed.. What happens next? How long will it take for them to issue a check a mail it.

  64. tiffany says

IRS accepted/received my return on Jan 29 (E-file) so according to the above schedule I should have received my DD on Feb 5th, but it’s still sitting in “received” status. Why is this? I know several people that filed after me yet, they have received theirs before me. When I check my refund info IRS Topic 152 is there, but that’s just general info. Why has my status not changed?

  65. Amy says

I filed through H&R Block online on January 31st. Both Federal, and AZ State were accepted by the government on February 1st. Got my Federal refund on Saturday, February 6th (only 5 days after they accepted my return!!!)…but Arizona’s state Where’s My Refund tool says it can’t give me any info on my return. Don’t know what’s going on!

  66. freelyspokyn says

Update: Ok, so just that fast, right after hanging up with the customer service rep at my bank and posting my first post, my refund was deposit less than 30 min. And the last time I got to check, “where’s my refund”, there was no status update. I checked shortly after that and I was blocked and told to check back tomorrow…lmbo!

  67. Cassia says

We filed with TurboTax this year. So this schedule is a little confusing…. It says ‘accepted’ date, not approved date. We filed on the 3rd and it stills says accept and not approved. Will that effect the date we’re supposed to get it or will they possibly approve it in the next day? Do they only issue refunds on those days or are they released as they go?

  68. Jasmin Myers says

I filed on 1/31/2016, was accepted same day. it hit sent on 2/10/2016, it is now 2/12 and still havent received it. I selected direct deposit. my bank claims at soon as its sent them it will go directly to my account. Its still not there but was sent out on the 10th. anyone know when i should see it there?

  69. tiffany phillips says

I’m am curious if someone has a ddd and three bars on wmr is it possible for the refund to be taken back or never sent. I know a couple people that had a date days ago and didn’t get it yet and have no offsets.

  70. Caden says

I efiled with Jackson Hewitt on 1/25/16. My Federal and State (Minnesota) returns were received that same day. My State refund was Approved and sent on 2/9/16, I got it by direct deposit on 2/10/16. I have not received my Federal Refund, I been checking the WMR website everyday since it was received and it says “your return is still being processed, a refund date will be provided when available”

  71. stephanie says

  72. Precious says

Hey can someone answer my question please. If I filed my taxes on feb 12,2016 and put my refund for direct deposit when will I recieved it?

  73. Dale Zehring says

You can forget it. I efiled and was accepted on 1/21/2016. It is now 03/01/2016 and nothing. they have not stated any errors that need correcting or nothing, it is still processing blah blah.

  74. floreece says

  75. Jessica says

  76. Kristee Delgado says
