Thanks for the extra reminder! While I barely even have enough for me to put away, I think that no matter how small the contribution now it will definitely pay off to at least be in the habit of contributing to her college fund so that when I do make more money I won't waste any time. My parents opened a saving account for me and gave me an allowance when I was growing up, which was a good start. But they don't have quite the same passion as I do regarding money. I know a lot of people who don't put any thought into it and as a result, their children expect their parents to be a source of money whenever they want it. hopefully I will be able to teach our daughter how money works, and how to work a budget, etc. We are enjoying her.
