I’ve been super busy this past week. I’ve been helping my wife prepare her resume for her transition from the military to the civilian job sector, and I’ve got my mid-term reviews coming up. I’m vying for a promotion and a raise. Mid-year promotions aren’t common at my company, but I have been working at this for a few months and I feel like I have a good shot at it. I don’t know whether or not it will happen, but I have definitely put forth the required effort and am qualified for the promotion. Let’s hope I’ve earned it, and get it this time around! (It not, my manager basically already told me I will get it at the end of the year.) But I would rather have it 6 months earlier!
