		<description>I think the important thing that people need to keep in mind is to only donate to charities that have no financial ties with Haiti whatsoever. Yes, I feel sorry for the innocent citizens of Haiti affected by this catastrophe, but I don&#039;t really feel sorry for the Haitian government, as millions and millions have been donated to that country over the years and the only tangible result has been the building of a presidential &quot;palace&quot; 3 times the size of the White House, which is used to govern over some of the poorest people in the world.</description>

		<description>You know, I don&#039;t care if it is tax deductible or not.  It can help, but I would just give what I got back from the government right to more relief funds.  Basically all I would be doing is getting the government to pay a donation.</description>
