I did not add or take money from the account. I questioned if there was anything else that needed to be done to maintain the account as it was. The bank officer said no. I just received a letter that the money was sent to the state for unclaimed funds. I now have to wait 4 months to get my money back, Why! Basically accounts etc untouched for > 7 years get transferred into this account. But I am not sure if we have any website where we can search for something like Ron's minor windfall.
