Home Depot and Lowe’s are offering a 10% discount for military members, veterans and their families to celebrate Memorial Day. The discounts start at both stores start this Thursday, May 21, 2009, and last for a few days (details below).

Update! Home Depot and Lowes 10% Military Discount Available Everyday. This offer is now available to active duty, Guard and Reserve and military retirees and their family members every day. The 10% savings is still available to all veterans on the 3 major veterans holidays.

Lowe’s and Home Depot Memorial Day Discounts

10% military discount eligibility: All active-duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, military retirees, veterans and immediate family members of these groups are eligible for the 10% discount at both stores. Customers must be able to prove eligibility by offering proof such as a valid military ID card or other proof of military service such as a DD Form 214 or VFW membership.

  • Available May 21-25.
  • Good for purchases up to $5,000 (max discount of $500).

  • Good for purchases up to $2,000 (max discount of $200 maximum).
  • Offer good for in-store purchases only. Does not apply to online sales, previous sales, services or gift cards.
