Now, there is a spending limit when using your Chase Freedom® MasterCard – $100 Bonus Cash Back for 5% cash back and that limit is $1500.  Once you have spent this amount on the categories above (combined, not for each one), you will receive the standard 1% cash back on future purchases.  The limit resets itself each quarter, so you have the opportunity to spend $6,000 a year while receiving 5% cash back (Quick math says that $300 cash back).
