Celebrating 3 Years of Cash Money Life

by Ryan

Yesterday was the three year anniversary of Cash Money Life. I started this blog to share my passion of personal finance, learn from others, and as a challenge to learn how to create and manage a website. The results have far exceeded my expectations.

Through this site I have learned more than I thought I would about money management, running a small business, and dozens of related topics and activities. More importantly, I have met dozens of great people, including readers and bloggers. I’ve even had the opportunity to meet some of them in person and consider them good personal friends.

What are the plans for Cash Money Life going forward?

The plan is to keep chugging along. I love running this site and the other sites I run and I have no plans to stop in the near future. Over the last few weeks I have gone through the archives on this site looking for topics I may have skipped over. I discovered some areas for improvement and I have plans to write a mix of articles that will benefit people beginning their personal finance journey and those with more advanced needs. I will also review some personal finance and money management products to give readers a look at alternative solutions to the products and services they are currently using.

Transparency is important to me. I recently announced why I had been blogging anonymously and followed that up by sharing a list of financial products we use, how we manage our money on a daily basis, and how I manage my small business finances. I hope that showing others how I do things is helpful (and it also helps me to document and think about these processes).

Other future goals. I have plans to write an ebook which will cover helpful tips anyone can use to improve his or her financial situation. The goal will be to distribute it free to readers of Cash Money Life and The Military Wallet, my military money blog. I also plan on creating a newsletter which will send out exclusive content and giveaways. These two goals are a work in progress!

Any idea on a time frame for the eBook?

not sure when the eBook will go live. I have the outline written and a couple of the pages, so it is just a matter of filling in the blanks and getting a cover designed. So I guess we can say it’s still in the planning stages! :)

Thanks Ryan! I recently discovered the “wise world of eBooks”, and love how easy they are to read! I love being able to just click on a link in an eBook and it takes you to a website. And I will be back Monday!

Congrats Ryan. You have been a big inspiration for me with your blog/business.

Small typo – “plans to stop” s/b “no plans to stop”. :)
