Yesterday I was catching up on some reading and I stumbled across a recent article on the blog, Being Frugal: Support the American Cancer Society and Get a Great Deal! Plus a Giveaway!. That’s a long title for a great deal with a good purpose. The website Trialpay.com enlisted a bunch of companies to supply software, services, coupons, and more to support the American Cancer Society. The package is called the Big Bundle, and offers $799.01 worth of software, services, and discounts for the low price of… $29.99.
But, it gets better. Lynnae is is hosting a giveaway for a Big Bundle on her site, and she has a 30% off coupon code (as if it wasn’t already cheap enough!).

If it sounds too good to be true… This is one of those times where it sounds too good to be true. But I assure you, it isn’t. I purchased the Big Bundle yesterday and have already downloaded some of the software and I plan on using the Papa John’s gift card for pizza to go along with Sunday’s football games. Be sure to act soon because the Big Bundle will expire October 14th or when 100,000 total sales have been made.
What comes in the Big Bundle?
- Papa John’s $10 gift card (only to the first 2500 bundles)
- Restaurant.com $25 gift certificate
- Corel: Photo Album 7
- Trend Micro: Antivirus + Antispyware 2010
- 1-800-FLOWERS: $20 Gift Card
- Snapfish: 16 x 20 poster
- Mozy: 50% off one year of Mozy Home Unlimited
- Dropbox: 3 months Dropbox Pro (50GB)
- Godaddy: 1 Domain
- Lancome: Free Shipping on Any Order Plus 4 Deluxe Samples
- and more… Over $700 value for $29.99
- More information and giveaway.
Note: The Big Bundle is not tax deductible because you are making a purchase and not a direct donation. But you are still doing a good thing, and receiving a lot of value, so I wouldn’t worry about a $30 tax write off.

Thanks for the link!
Thanks for the heads up. This is a great deal!
Sounds like a great deal, and for a good cause too-Thanks for pointing it out!
It’s not worth it unless you use all of it.
Not really. It’s worth it if you use more than $21 worth of it, which is the cost after the discount. I’ve already gotten my money’s worth, and then some. But I’d say the majority of it will go unused. But I don’t have a problem with that.
Thanks for the mention, Ryan! Big Bundle sounds mighty interesting! I’m taking a look!
Thanks for alerting us to the deal.
thanks for the mention patrick!! I would have to take a close look at the bundle to see if it would really be worth for me, but if you use some of the items, it seems like a no-brainer!
Pretty cool collaboration for a good cause! Thanks for mentioning my personal finance mini-tale.
