My wife and I took out baby girl on her first nature walk yesterday. She just turned 2 months old, and this is the first time we took her out in the woods. We usually walk around our neighborhood several times per week, but pushing a stroller across the asphalt is different than walking through the woods and enjoying nature. Emma seemed to enjoy the walk for the first few minutes, then buried herself in the sling for the duration. Well, at least my wife and I were able to go out and enjoy the cool evening.

Thanks for the nice links. My parents took me on nature walks and now I enjoy them myself. See photos of my hikes in national parks http://curiouscat.com/travels/usa.cfm
Excellent photos, Curious Cat.
Great roundup – you seem to have a lot of “business stuff” on the brain…
I hope things are going better with the baby (sleepwise).
I like to mix it up, FP. As for sleep… it’s not going too well. Emma seems to be more colicky than ever. Hopefully it is reaching its peak and will be over soon. We’ve tried just about everything, and very little seems to work.
As always– nice recap. Plenty of reading ahead!
