Last year he was here in US and wanted to see a special screening of an international movie starring his favorite actor. He rarely asks for anything at all. It so happened I got to take him to it on Father's day! He enjoyed it very much. Little did I or he knew at that time he would soon be diagnosed with brain tumor and pass away in a few short months. He is dearly missed. My dad being in another country it is very rare we get to spend Father’s day with him around. He said so! It is a great relaxation focal point on our deck. Since our deck is raised and surrounded by large trees he feels he is in a treehouse. Both factors really made me proud. I bought a gizmo that heated up shaving cream so my Dad could get a warm shave. I bought it at a garage sale for 25 cents in the mid-70s. I washed my Grandparents and Uncle's car to earn that 25 cents. My Dad loved it. The first gift I gave my Dad was my best, maybe because it was the first or maybe because I saved pennies to buy it.
