This weekend my wife and I drove to visit her family who are graciously giving us a baby shower. I don’t know who invented these things, but I think it’s an amazing idea!
What’s on Your Mind? USAA, a financial services company associated with the military, recently started a new financial website, What’s On Your Mind, which brings together some of the Internet’s brightest money management experts to help people get the answers to their toughest financial questions. The open forum also connects people with others who are facing the same money issues in their everyday lives. There’s no selling of any kind on the site – just real people having real discussions and benefiting from free expert advice. Check it out if you get the opportunity!
Memorial Day. Monday is Memorial Day, so I want to thank everyone out there who has ever served or loved someone who has served. In the spirit of the holiday and because my wife and I will be traveling tomorrow, I will not be publishing a new article until Tuesday. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!

Thanks for the article mention!
Thanks for the mention! Baby showers are great for the Mom-To-Be, but I hope you didn’t have to stick around for it!
It was a family event and BBQ. I didn’t mind hanging around.
Thanks for including my article about bad money habits! Hope you had a terrific holiday weekend.
What a great list of links! I think baby showers are wonderful- not for the stuff you get, but for the celebration of the new baby that will be joining the family. We don’t have baby showers in France, and I really missed them with the births of each of my children.
