Note: This offer has ended, but you can get a $50 bonus with the Discover More Card.
The Discover Business Card is currently offering new cardholders a $100 bonus for spending $1,000 within the first 3 months you have your account. Unfortunately, that Cashback bonus is coming to an end, and will no longer be available after December 31st. If you need a new credit card and would like to take advantage of the $100 bonus, now is the best time to do that.
I give the Discover Business Card my stamp of approval. I currently use the Discover Business Card for my business related expenses and have been very happy with it so far.
I recently purchased a new Dell laptop for my business, which combined with my other expenditures put me over the $1,000 threshold, qualifying me for the $100 Cashback Bonus. The Discover Business Card also offers cash back on regular purchases, and special offers for shopping through Discover’s Exclusive Online Shopping Site.
Don’t have a small business? You don’t need one! Anyone can sign up for a business card. All you need to do is use your SSN for the Business ID number.

I wouldn’t trust Discover Card. They have refused to pay the money they owed me (earned as a cash back bonus over several years). And still have failed to do so over a year later: Incredibly Bad Customer Service from Discover Card. Now credit card companies are often know to provide bad service, but, to me, just refusing to pay the money they owe is a bit too much to ask me to accept and still trust such a company.
Curious Cat: Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Discover. I have only had my Discover card for a few months, and haven’t had any problems yet. My wife, on the other hand, has had a Discover Card rewards card for the last 10 years or so, and she has never had any problems receiving her cash back.
I read your article and the cash back seemed like a weird technicality based on their rules (I’m not agreeing with it at all, however!).
Any time there is money on the line, someone will try to find a way out of it – look at all the legalese on every credit card agreement, checking or savings account, loan, contract, rental agreement, etc. It’s a pain.
My husband and I each opened a Discover account last fall under an offer for a $100 bonus for each if we spent $500.00 in the first 3 months of having the card. We both did so but when we called Discover to ask for our bonus to be applied, it said it knew nothing about such a bonus. When we asked for a supervisor, the supervisor said the same thing. I guess there’s nothing we can do since we didn’t know we should print out and save the ad for the card that we applied for–we though Discover was reputable!
