Free Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A Sandwich for Voters

by Patrick on November 4, 2008

Voters have a little something extra to look forward to this year – a free chicken sandwich and a tall, regular coffee from StarBucks. The Chick-Fil-A promotion was only announced on fliers in participating stores, so make sure your store is participating before ordering! For both promotions, just take in your “I voted” sticker and enjoy your freebie.

From StarBucks:

On November 4, 2008, Starbucks will give voters a free tall brewed coffee at participating U.S. stores. Come into Starbucks on Nov. 4th, tell us you voted, and we’ll proudly give you a tall cup of brewed coffee on us.

After voting, voters must go to a Starbucks store, where they’ll be given a tall (12 oz) cup of brewed coffee at no charge (limit one per customer).

I was planning on voting anyway, but instead of doing it after work, I’ll do it o the way to work. ;)

Hat tip to Dave and Slick Deals.

UPDATE 1: Free for everyone; not just voters

It seems as though it may be against voting laws to give incentives to vote, so StarBucks is giving away free coffee to everyone. Not sure how much this is going to cost them, but it’s a good deal if you live by a StarBucks. :)

Update 2: Free Krsipy Kreme donuts

Apparently Krispy Kreme is giving away a free donut as well. I don’t have one nearby, but if I did, I would probably take them up on that offer. They sure are tasty. :)

I really wish I had read your post before I voted. I didn’t get a sticker, and I’m a Starbucks fanatic! Of course I was in line at my polling place at 6:45 a.m. this morning. Even in my small little neighborhood there was a line by the time the doors opened. I could have used the Starbucks before voting. :)

how noble! I’m giving free pedicures to those who vote in my area :-)

Starbucks backed off the proof requirement as it conflicts with too many state laws. So just tell them you voted, that’s it.

I am hearing on the radio that it is not legal in some states to give incentives this for voting. Ben N Jerry and Starbucks said their promotion would be available to everyone for free.

You also can get a free scoop of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and 20% off of any order at Pizza Hut
