Weekly Round-Up; Family Visit Edition
By Patrick on Jul 14, 2008 in Personal Finance
My family stopped by our house for a couple days en route to my sister’s college orientation. They live in TX and my sister will be going to a small school in Pennsylvania, so she is in for a big change! I wish her the best.
We had a great time visiting. I’ve lived away from my family for about 10 years now, so I enjoy every opportunity I get to visit with them.
Milestones
1/2 million visitors! This week my blog had its 500,000th unique visitor. My site has been online since March 07, and sometimes I am amazed at how well it has done. Thanks everyone, for visiting, linking, sharing, and contributing to my site. I have a lot of fun with it, and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I hope you all stick around for the next 1/2 million visitors and beyond!
Brip Blap turns 1! Steve, of Brip Blap fame, celebrated his blog’s one year anniversary this week. Steve is a good friend and a great blogger. I always enjoy reading his thoughts on career and money topics. Congrats, Steve!

Congratulations on the success of your blog. As a Pennsylvania resident, I hope your sister enjoys it here. I’m not sure what side of the state she’s going to be on, but if it’s the Pittsburgh side, there are lots of great things to do here.
