Weekly Round-Up Independence Day Edition
By Patrick on Jul 6, 2008 in Personal Finance
I hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th! My wife and I went to a friend’s house out in the country where we had a grill out with a pot luck, a keg of beer for the adults, water guns and water balloons for the kids, and over $1,000 worth of fireworks for everyone. What a great time!
In honor of Independence Day, the Carnival of Financial Goals - Financial Freedom Edition was held at Military Finance Network. There were a lot of great entries, and I recommend checking it out if you haven’t read it yet.

Thanks for the mention! I’m finally back from vacation and ready to get back into the swing of things!
Hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July. We spent ours at Mt Rushmore and it was spectacular! I’ve never seen that many fireworks (and I’ve been to a lot of fireworks displays!)
Many thanks to those who have made the sacrifice to keep our nation free.
