		<description>I was skeptical of Lending Club because there are very specific regulations in regards to the lending industry.  Even banks have to follow these rules.  It sounds like LC has a little different approach than Prosper does.  Prosper is already established because the loans are made with Prosper, not the "lenders". So the promissory notes sounds like the difference maker here.

I heard about this yesterday over at Saving for a Home so I knew you would write about it soon enough. ;)  Great work on keeping us appraised.</description>
