Happy Birthday, Cash Money Life!!! and a Giveaway!

Today, Cash Money Life celebrates its One Year Anniversary! It amazes me to see how far this website has come in the last year, and I am very happy to be able to share this site with everyone. Without you, this site wouldn’t even be here!

To celebrate, I will give away several books away to my readers. The details are below, so skip over the site trivia if you only want to see the details of the giveaway (it’s mostly so I can look back a year from now to see how much this site grew in year two!)

Cash Money Life Fast Facts (as of today):

• CML has 359 articles, or just under one per day since its inception.
• There are over 2,100 comments (I think this includes trackbacks as well, which is other sites linking to this one).
• There have been over 121,500 unique visitors who looked at over 198,000 different pages.
• There are roughly 650 subscribers (the numbers vary from day to day).
• CML has given away more than a half dozen books and an iPod!

And now for the giveaway!

I have a total of 5 prizes to give away. The first prize is a signed bookplate by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, the authors of Freakonomics, and current columnists at The NY Times. This is a hand signed bookplate, not the book. But it’s still pretty cool!

I will also be giving away copies of a few books I have around here. The first is Fast Profits in Hard Times (review). I reviewed this book a couple weeks ago, and thought it was a good overview for different investments and a great resource for additional information, but it is definitely not for all investors.

The next book is Increase Your Financial IQ, by Robert Kiyosaki. I will publish a review on this book later this week. I have two copies of this book to give away, one of which is a preview copy sent by the publishers for review before the book was published in its final form.

The final book is Cash-Rich Retirement, which is based on the public television series Retirement Revolution. I have not read this one yet, but I plan on getting through it quickly so I can publish the review and get it out to the lucky winner!
