Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. My blog was scraped by an unscrupulous thief. These jackasses steal the entire article bloggers publish and republish it on their site, presenting it as their own. This is stealing and it is illegal. Unfortunately, they also do not make it easy for you to contact them. I will have to contact their webhost and file a formal complaint, as well as contact Google AdSense and report their account. This is against Google’s Terms of Service. Hopefully any funds they earn will be forfeit and will never be paid to the thieves who stole my articles.
Mrs Micah recently wrote about dealing with a similar issue, and laid forth the steps for dealing with scrapers. Scrapers are thieves and make the internet a less enjoyable place for everyone. To end on a positive note though… they did leave some of my referral links intact, so if anyone clicks on the links to make a purchase, I will receive a commission… small chance of that happening though!
Free Money Finance Money March Madness Tournament. FMF from Free Money Finance is holding a March Madness Tournament, pitting different blog articles against one another. The winners advance to whittle down the field. The tournament champion will receive a $500 donation to the charity of their choice. Thanks for holding this tournament, FMF!

Sorry about the scraper incident.
By the way, I am starting the non-budgeter anonymous network
Thanks for the mention and link Ryan, appreciate it.
You are so heartless; no love for the scraper?
Thanks for the mention Ryan!
Scapers just grind my gears.
Thanks for the link, though. Let us know how things turn out.
You mean you don’t like someone stealing your hard work and passing it off as their own? What a killjoy!
(must scrap plans to scrape Ryan’s blog…)
Thanks for including my anti-scraper advice.
Does this mean I should stop scraping from your feed? I’m just kidding
Just link internally and get the scrapers to do link building for you
Sorry about the scraper. And thanks for the mention!
DMCA cease and desist to their hosting company. Has always worked for me! Thanks for the link (and thanks to Lynnae for writing it!)
Thanks for the link! And I would definitely report the incident to Google. Getting them banned from Google Adsense hits them where it hurts, so to speak.
