Hello, everyone. Christmas is just around the corner. It’s snowing outside (we might get 6 inches today, followed by some more tomorrow!), the tree is up, and most of my Christmas shopping is done. I love Amazon this time of year!

• Santa Isn’t Coming This Christmas Because There Isn’t Any Home Equity to Tap Into - Generation X Finance. I can’t believe people actually think dipping into home equity for Christmas gifts is even a legitimate option. Emergencies, yes. Luxuries, no.
• What Are We Saving For, Anyways? Our Life Goals and “Retirement” Plans - My Money Blog. This is a great article about establishing a good work/life balance. Too many people focus on the dollars, and not the living.
• What Will it Take to Have $300,000 by 2018? - The Dividend Guy. The Dividend Guy does some math and lays it all on the line. Is his goal to have$300,000 by 2018 feasible?
