Hello everyone, I would like to announce a new financial carnival, the Carnival of Financial Goals! The Carnival of Financial Goals will be devoted to setting and sharing financial goals and will be published on the first Wednesday of every month, and the first edition will be posted here at Cash Money Life, on December 5th.
Why launch another carnival? There are several great financial carnivals out there; however, I noticed there is no carnival devoted to setting or sharing financial goals. With the New Year just around the corner, now is a great time to start thinking about your Financial Resolutions. In fact, the first edition of the Carnival of Financial Goals will be devoted to New Year’s Resolutions – or any other financial topic as long as the article meets the submission criteria.
Description: To be included in the Carnival of Financial Goals, your article must meet these criteria:
- Your article must be about a financial goal or general tips on achieving or setting goals. One idea is to include a SMART Goal (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely). If your article does not fit this criteria, please consider submitting it to another Carnival.
- Submit only articles from the month leading up to the Carnival.
- Submit only articles that have not been submitted to another money-related carnival.
- No SPAM or scams!
Topics: Alternative/Passive Income, Budgeting, Career, Debt Reduction, Financial Education, Income, Investing, Net Worth, Real Estate, Retirement, Saving, Other (Related to Personal Finance).
When: Carnival posts 4th of every month; entries must be received by 2nd of every month. This allows the host time to read and compile each entry.
Where: The first edition will be hosted here at Cash Money Life; subsequent editions will be hosted at other financial blogs. If you would like to be considered to host future editions of the Carnival of Financial Goals, please contact me with the topic “Carnival of Financial Goals Host” or something similar. Because this is a monthly carnival, I can’t guarantee every blog the opportunity to host. I will likely schedule a few months in advance, and if there are several volunteers to host, I will place names in a hat and draw. This should give several people the opportunity to host.

I like the idea. (Please remind us when the deadline comes around) I generally post my financial goals at the beginning of the month anyway, so it’ll be nice to share them with people, read other people’s and get ideas.
