		<description>Dong, I&#039;m not sure what exactly our timeline is, but my wife and I may have children in the next few years, and I am also considering going into an MBA program. For my situation, it makes sense to keep the money in a conservative investment for the time being. If we didn&#039;t have anything (somewhat planned) I would move the funds into an equity based investment. But I have a feeling we will want partial liquidity in the next few years. Great comment. :)</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve haphazardly constructed a CD latter and treasury ladder as well.  However, i&#039;m very conflicted about the ladder.  Like you it&#039;s for vague time period.  I have a very healthy emergency fund.  Much of the time I think it would be better just to dump the CD ladder and put all into my investment portfolio.   I mean if i don&#039;t need it for anything, why should I care about volatility?</description>
