Free Rewards Points for American Express Business Gold Rewards Card

american-express-business-gold-card.gif

I use the American Express Business Gold Rewards Card for my personal business. When I originally applied, I received 25,000 bonus reward points after your first purchase. This equates to $125 cash, a free domestic airline ticket, or $250 in gift cards at select retailers. Not bad! The offer has changed somewhat since then, but you can still get 5,000 free points just for signing up, as long as this is your first American Express Business Gold Rewards Card.

Earn bonus points. You can have all your bonus points directed to one account. The only other American Express card I have is my corporate card from my day job. The American Express CSR offered to direct any points earned from that card to my business card, free of charge! Sign me up! (no word on whether or not my company has a problem with that… Hmmm, I better ask!).

Anyone can sign up! Even though this is a business card, anyone can sign up as a sole proprietorship without filling out any additional forms. Just use your social security number as your business ID. There is an annual fee of $125.
