Hi Raymond,

I never had many Garbage Pail Kids because my Mom hated them - so all of mine came through trading. :)

I collected baseball cards through high school, but I didn't go out and buy hundreds of packs or collect sets - I lived near the Houston Astrodome and was primarily interested in getting cards signed. My buddy and I went to a lot of games and got a lot of signatures. It was a ton of fun!

Since then I haven't really collected anything else, but I have at least kept my baseball cards. ;)

Your comments about Garbage Pail Kids cards brought me back since I did that as well back in the day :) I eventually branched out into collecting mechanical pencils of all random things.

I look back now and and chuckle at what I used to do. Eventually I gave it up because I realized only cash really had value that could increase over time.
