Trent was kind enough to host this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance #114. There are well over 70 articles of various financial topics. My recent article, Is a Job Worth Your Life?, was selected along with 9 other great articles as an Editor’s Choice. I recommend reasding each of the Editor’s Choice articles, as well as a few others:
- The Happy Rock – 5 Key Strategies For Getting Out Of Debt.

Thanks for the mention.
I am four classes away from finishing my MBA. I can’t wait to be finished. I really am not able to keep a good balance marriage, family, school, website/side business, friends, and work(with marriage and family being numero uno). We adopted our first son two weeks after I started my MBA, I would recommend your route of getting the MBA done before children(for the families sake).
Also I would suggest that you have a huge personal interest in the discipline and rigors of the MBA, because depending on your personality and goals it would be probably easier, cheaper, and better to learn from great books and some mentoring. For me it has been a good journey, but mainly from a personal growth side not necessarily from the learning side.
Thanks for the mention.
