Well, I did it. I went into our local Key Bank branch and signed up for their Key Express Free Checking Account. Key Bank is currently promoting this account by offering a free 4GB iPod nano
Opening a new account with Key bank was painless and took about 15 minutes. I was required to deposit $50 upon opening the account, and I will have to make either 2 automatic deposits of $100, or 2 free bill on-line bill payments of $100 or more to qualify for the free 4GB iPod nano
If you don’t have a Key Bank branch near you, you can sign up for this offer on-line. There is a Key Bank branch on my way home from work, so I stopped in and opened the account in person.
I was informed I would receive the iPod sometime before Christmas. I’m not sure exactly how I will do it yet, but I when I receive it, I will give it away on this blog. Stay tuned for more information! 
UPDATE: It took about 2.5 months to receive the iPod, but it arrived at the beginning of October!
