Free iPod Nano
By Patrick on Jul 24, 2007 in Deals
They’re back! Key Bank is offering free iPod Nanos again! (This deal has since expired, but it was legitimate!) I heard the radio announcement on my way home from work yesterday, so I looked it up. I didn’t take advantage of their offer last summer, but I think I might this time. I hate opening new accounts that I will probably never use, but I think this deal is too good to pass up!
Here is (some of) the fine print:
- Open an account between July 21, 2007 and August 24, 2007, and make a combination of two direct deposits and/or automated payments each of $100 or more by October 26, 2007 and you will receive your iPod® by December 15, 2007.
- Limit one free iPod nano per qualifying account. Limit one free iPod nano per individual. Offer valid while supplies last.
- The value of the iPod nano will be reported on Form 1099-INT.
- If you close your account within 180 days of account opening, you will be charged a $25 account early closure fee.
This seems to be a pretty good deal to me. A 4GB iPod nano holds around 1000 songs and the price starts at $149 at the Apple Store. Keep it for yourself, give it as a gift, or sell it on eBay. Any way you look at it, it’s a great deal!
NOTE: No, I’m not affiliated with the bank, just passing along a nice deal! Also, be sure to read and understand all the fine print!
UPDATE: I received my free 4GB iPod nano

Can I have it?

Hi Dorothy,
You should be able to get you one for yourself. Just apply and follow the directions.
As for the one I will get, I haven’t decided what I will do with it yet. Maybe I will have a contest of some sort… Or, since I don’t have one for myself, I may just keep it!
