107th Carnival of Personal Finance Up at Blogging Away Debt!

by Ryan on July 2, 2007

Blogging Away Debt has posted this week’s Carnival of Personal Finance, #107. One of my recent posts, Polish Those Shoes, is included in the Carnival. In addition to my post, there are 73 other great posts. This week’s Carnival was done a little differently than in recent weeks. There are a few Editor’s Choices with a short quote from the post. The remaining posts are organized by length. There are also only post titles, and no reference to which blog it came from. I think this is interesting because you only have the post title to judge whether or not the post is worth reading.

Here are a few of my favorites from this week’s Carnival:

The Finance JourneyThinking About my M.B.A. (Part II - School Choices). I’m thinking about getting my MBA too, but I think I will get mine via distance learning. This seems to be the best option for me because I will need a lot of prerequisites to attend my local university. I’m sure when I get around to starting my program, I will write more about it!

Free Money Finance tells us to Ask for More When You’re Given a Job Offer. The worst that can happen is they say no, and sometimes they will say yes. Earning more money when you start out is important to help maximize your career earnings.

Financial Hack tells us that Changing Your Job Title (Not Your Job) Can Save On Car Insurance. It’s all about perceived risk… (site no longer available).
