Discounts at Home Depot and Lowe’s for Military and Veterans

by Patrick on July 1, 2007

In honor of Independence Day, Home Depot and Lowe’s are giving 10% discounts to all military members including Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, retired, veterans and their family members. The discount runs through July 8th.

To receive the discount, customers will need to show a valid military ID or other proof of military service, such as a VFW membership card, other veteran’s ID, or discharge papers.

Source: Military Times. This information is not found on either store’s website, but both stores usually run similar promotions for military members around Independence Day and Veteran’s Day. There are some restrictions to the discount, so check out the link to Military Times for details.

I have a Home Depot gift card that I bought at a discount and I need a new drill. I guess I need to go make a trip. :D
